Hermann Park

Hi guys (and girls)

I hope you're all fine.
This weekend I went to Hermann Park, and it's i think the prettiest place i ever went in Houston (Brazos is outside so it doesn't count ^^)
We first went to the Chinese part: who was quite sober but nice.

There was also a Rose garden

It wasn't very big but the flowers looked very nice. (sadly i didn't took to much photographs)

Then we went to the main part of the park who was really amazing even-though it was crowded.

The park was also full of animals (I'm not talking of the Americans ^^)
Like turtles, ducks, gooses, and some kind of nutria

As you saw on the pictures it was pretty sunny and it was a real pleasure to walk around this park.
I saw also some weird things like a mother and is child feeding ducks with chips!?

Their where also a bunch of people who made their wedding photos in the park, some of the couple looked very nice.

On Sunday then I was invited for lunch in a French family, it was great and we ate so much!!! During the whole afternoon i had totally forgotten that i was in the US.

In the evening i had also the great chance to go to
the Flying Lotus concert in Houston

(it's not the show in Houston but looks pretty the same except that the sound was much better ^^)

  1. Well... well... well... everything seems so big ! We know you're in the States because of these big open spaces. Did the roses smell good ? Is the kind of rat a "ragondin" ?
And don't laugh about people feeding the ducks, all my family albums are full of pictures of me feeding ducks in England, Danemark, France (not the States) with "petits beurres" !
Tell us where you stay at last. Show us !
Glad you're so nicely busy. Lots of kisses.
PS : my mum is among your faithful readers...
    Nanou
